About

The Arkansas Community Action Agencies Association (ACAAA) is a statewide nonprofit organization established in 1974 to support community action agencies working to reduce poverty and improve living conditions across Arkansas, United States. The association serves as a unified voice for local agencies that provide assistance to low- and moderate-income individuals and families. Its mission is to promote economic opportunity, strengthen communities and help people achieve greater financial stability and self-sufficiency through education, advocacy and collaboration.

The association supports its member agencies through professional training, technical assistance, organizational development and policy advocacy. Its areas of focus include poverty reduction, affordable housing, food security, employment opportunities, education, energy assistance and family development. ACAAA also works with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses and community partners to develop sustainable solutions to economic and social challenges. Through statewide initiatives, including the Arkansas Pathways to Self-Sufficiency program, the organization seeks to address the underlying causes of poverty, expand opportunities for disadvantaged populations and build stronger, more resilient communities across Arkansas.
