About

Women Deliver is a global nonprofit advocacy organization founded in 2007 that works to advance gender equality and protect the health, rights, and well-being of girls, women, and gender-diverse people. The organization brings together advocates, feminist movements, young leaders, governments, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to promote social justice and influence policies that advance gender equality worldwide. Its work focuses on building collective action and ensuring that the voices of people most affected by inequality are represented in decision-making.

A major area of Women Deliver's work is advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights. The organization advocates for access to quality healthcare, reproductive health information, and services that enable girls and women to make informed decisions about their bodies and lives. Through evidence-based advocacy, partnerships, and policy engagement, it works to strengthen political and financial commitments to healthcare and address inequalities that prevent marginalized communities from exercising their rights.

Women Deliver also invests in youth leadership and advocacy by creating opportunities for young people to influence policies and participate in global discussions on gender equality. Through leadership development, capacity-building initiatives, networking, and international convenings, it helps young advocates strengthen their skills, connect with decision-makers, and promote solutions to challenges affecting their communities. The organization emphasizes the importance of including young people's experiences and perspectives in decisions concerning their health, rights, and futures.

In addition, Women Deliver works on issues connecting gender equality with climate change, public health, and social justice. Through its global conferences, strategic partnerships, research, and advocacy campaigns, it brings together diverse stakeholders to build political will, coordinate efforts, and encourage governments and institutions to fulfil their commitments to equality and human rights. Under its 2025–2030 strategy, the organization focuses on strengthening collaboration across the gender equality movement and supporting collective action to create a more equitable world where all girls, women, and gender-diverse people can exercise their rights and participate fully in society.
