For the past year, charities in Cornwall and Devon have received support from South West Water’s Neighborhood Fund. This funding is accompanied by the great deal of funding assistance offered by the organization for education, health, and environmental activities.
Providing assistance to families and children in Devon and Cornwall
This initiative covers the work of Luna’s Fund in Plymouth, a charity that provides aid to families who have lost a child. This, along with many other supportive tasks, was made possible thanks to funding that helped direct aid for 11 couples suffering from grief.

Expressing gratitude, Luna’s Fund founder Aimee Conroy stated,
“We deeply appreciate South West Water’s support in helping families in need of our services.”
An additional beneficiary of the fund is Get Together Cornwall, which operates out of Liskeard. The charity focused on helping neurodivergent children was able to use the funding to create an outdoor therapy space that was made especially for non-verbal children and their families.
One participant who benefited from Get Together Cornwall explained how the charity’s assistance changed their life.
“I was feeling very alone and was struggling a lot, but their therapist helped support my son and helped me as well. Now, I am an empowered parent, and we love celebrating my child’s individuality,” the parent said.
