About The Funding Feminist Initiatives 2026
The Funding Feminist Initiatives 2026 is awarded by the Women’s Fund Armenia, a nonprofit organisation that focuses on empowering and strengthening the women’s and feminist movement in Armenia. The organisation provides funding of up to 500,000 AMD to support this movement through the collaboration of activist, feminists and civil society groups.
The purpose of the fund is to support feminist-led events and activities that raise awareness about gender equality, challenge harmful norms, support survivors, and foster inclusive feminist engagement in Armenian communities.
The initiative support four distinct programs all through the year. These are the Women’s Rights Day which occurs every March 8 and has an application deadline of february 5, 2026. The Sexual Violence Awareness Raising and Advocacy holds in April and the application deadline is March 2, 2026, the National Day Against Domestic Violence in October 1 has an application deadline of September 3, 2026 and the Feminist Events Dedicated to the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence that takes place from November 25 – December 10. Its application closes on October 20, 2025.
