The RISE Community Fund supports local businesses, community groups, farms, schools, and social enterprises in Ireland with monthly grants of up to €1,000 to meet their digital needs and address the rural-urban digital divide. Projects must be completed only in the 26 counties of Ireland. The deadline for the grant application submission round is February 14, 2026.

About The RISE Community Fund

The grant is administered by the Rise Global Foundation in partnership with the National Broadband Ireland (NBI) and Granahan McCourt. It seeks to address the rural-urban digital divide in Ireland and provides €1,000 in financial support to national schools, social enterprises, communities and local businesses to enhance their services and operations. Grants are intended to empower communities and schools by improving digital inclusion and boosting their local digital ecosystems. At the end of the review, successful applicants will receive their grant payment through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Who Can Apply for the RISE Community Fund

    • Social enterprises
    • Registration requirements: 
    • Applicants must be at least 18 years old. 
    • Projects must highlight the digital needs of the community they are applying to. 
    • The organisation’s annual income must not exceed €500,000.
    • Geographic eligibility: All 26 counties in Ireland
  • Sector or thematic focus:
  • Projects must demonstrate a positive impact of technology.

Application Process

  • Visit the official grant website and submit an online application form before the due date. 
  • Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by email or phone 4-6 weeks after the submission deadline. 
  • Successful applicants will receive their grant payment through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
