About The AFAC Creative and Critical Writings Grant

The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) is an independent funding institution based in Beirut that sponsors the AFAC Creative and Critical Writings Grant across the 22 member states of the Arab region. The grant provides support to arts and cultural projects across the Arab region to creative and cultural writers, creators, individuals, nonprofits and for-profit entities. AFAC aims to strengthen cultural production and creative expression by financing initiatives in literature, visual arts, performing arts, film, music, documentary, and critical writing. The creative writing grant also supports writings that contribute to the cultural landscape of the Arab world, and the final publication of selected projects must be in Arabic.
