It forms part of SARB’s long-term workforce planning strategy to build internal capability in emerging areas such as AI, cloud computing, and advanced data systems. Through structured workplace learning, participants gain hands-on experience while contributing to real digital transformation projects within the Bank.

Who Can Apply
- South African citizens only
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- Hold one of the following qualifications:
- National Diploma in Information Technology (NQF 6), or
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or related fields, or
- BTech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science (NQF 7)
- Strong interest in AI, data engineering, and technology innovation
- Self-driven, curious, and innovative mindset
