The Role

Solace Women’s Aid is hiring an Alliance Director (EHMP) to provide strategic and operational leadership within the Enhanced Mental Health Pathfinder (EMHP) Alliance. This role sits at the heart of the Alliance Leadership Team and is responsible for driving collaboration, governance, planning, delivery, and continuous development across the partnership.

The Alliance Director will unify partners around a shared purpose to improve care pathways for adult survivors of sexual assault and abuse with complex trauma-related mental health needs. This position requires a values-driven leader who can translate vision into coordinated action, ensuring the Alliance operates effectively while evolving to meet long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy and Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership across the EMHP Alliance to deliver transformative mental health pathways
  • Lead Alliance planning, governance, delivery, and continuous improvement
  • Champion the Alliance’s vision and foster unity and shared purpose among partners
  • Ensure trauma-informed, survivor-led principles guide all aspects of Alliance work

Donor Engagement and Major Gifts

  • Oversee effective coordination, financial stewardship, and organizational alignment across partners
  • Support the development of sustainable systems and pathways for long-term impact
  • Monitor delivery to ensure objectives are met and outcomes are achieved
  • Strengthen collaboration between statutory and voluntary sector services

Campaign Culture and Ecosystem Building

  • Build strong working relationships across Alliance members and stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of learning, adaptability, and collaboration
  • Represent the Alliance in strategic forums and partnership settings
  • Uphold Solace’s feminist, anti-racist, and inclusive values throughout the work

Requirements

  • Strong leadership experience managing complex, multi-partner programs or alliances
  • Excellent project management, organizational coordination, and financial oversight skills
  • Ability to navigate complexity and drive system-wide improvement
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Commitment to intersectional feminist values, survivor-led practice, and trauma-informed approaches
  • Experience working within or alongside statutory and voluntary sector services
  • Values-driven approach aligned with Solace’s mission and principles
