The Global Centre for Pluralism is calling on the world to put forward the individuals, organizations, governments, and businesses that are doing the hardest and most consequential work of building societies where diversity is genuinely protected and valued. The 2027 edition of the Global Pluralism Award carries a total prize pool of CAD 150,000 and an international platform that amplifies the work of winners well beyond the ceremony itself.
About the Global Pluralism Award Program
Established by the Global Centre for Pluralism in Ottawa and presented every two years, the award shines a light on practical, sustained achievement in pluralism rather than abstract commitment to it. Winners are selected by an international jury of independent experts and recognized not only through the financial prize but through a program of in-kind support, including communications assistance, event collaboration, and engagement in the Centre’s research and educational activities. Three winners and up to seven honorable mention recipients are recognized at each biennial ceremony.
