The Role
Equimundo is hiring a Director of Institutional Partnerships to lead the development and management of a global portfolio of institutional funders. You will cultivate donor relationships, secure major grants, develop compelling funding proposals, and help drive partnerships that support the organization’s strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with institutional donors.
- Develop major grant proposals and funding requests.
- Lead donor stewardship, reporting and renewals.
- Organize donor engagement events and meetings.
- Maintain the fundraising CRM and donor pipeline.
- Represent Equimundo at high-level events and partner meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
- Proven success securing six- and seven-figure grants.
- Strong proposal writing, research and communication skills.
- Experience using fundraising CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Spanish proficiency and experience in gender equality or social justice are desirable.
