The Amahoro Fellowship 2026 supports entrepreneurs with massive experience of forced displacement who are building community-driven enterprises across Africa. The fellowship helps refugee-led and host-community ventures to strengthen their businesses, expand economic inclusion, and create sustainable impact in displaced communities.

About the Amahoro Fellowship 2026

The Amahoro Fellowship is designed for entrepreneurs who have moved beyond the idea stage and are actively operating enterprises that generate social and economic value. The programme will strengthen private-sector solutions led by refugees and individuals affected by displacement. It supports founders who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and commitment to community-centred growth.

The fellowship combines in-depth learning, mentorship, peer collaboration, and access to capital to help participants refine business models, improve operational systems, and increase development. Fellows join a pan-African network of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, and supporters who support enterprise growth and long-term sustainability.

The programme places strong emphasis on inclusion, shared value creation, and the role of displaced leaders in driving economic transformation within their communities. Women- and youth-led enterprises are strongly encouraged under this initiative.
