CFEE Fieldwork Grants 2026 is calling for applications from PhD candidates and Master’s students to apply for grant funding of up to 90,000 ETB. The research projects must align with the semantic focus of the foundation and be ready for implementation. Applications are already open and will close on April 3, 2026, at 5:00 pm Addis Ababa time. 

About The CFEE Fieldwork Grants 2026

Le Centre français des études éthiopiennes (CFEE), in English, is the French Center for Ethiopian Studies. It is a research institute based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that focuses on research studies and projects in the country and in the Horn of Africa. The institution provides an annual grant program to support PhD candidates and MA students to complete their projects and fieldwork. To qualify, applicants must be ready to complete thier fieldwork within May to December 2026. Their topics must also align their project works with the thematic focus of the institution.

Application Process
