Corvias Foundation launches College Connection website to mark 20-year anniversary

After two decades of supporting the educational success of military-connected families, Corvias Foundation has launched a new resource to help students navigate the college landscape. The newly launched website comes on the heels of a Purple Tassel Program designed to pair students with college majors in line with their interests.

Corvias Foundation floats College Connection website

According to a press release, Corvias Foundation has confirmed that its College Connection website is live. The website will serve as a valuable resource for military-connected students to navigate college with proper guidance.

A close look at the newly minted website reveals actionable insights for high school students to choose a preferred college. Furthermore, the College Connection website provides application and admission timelines while providing data on scholarships and FAFSA completion processes.

Apart from merely operating as a resource tool, Corvias Foundation disclosed that the website can provide customized experiences for military-connected students. Per the statement, students affiliated with the military can sign up for a Purple Tassel Program for a self-discovery assessment at any one of seven Corvais-managed installations.

After the self-discovery assessment, students will receive advice on appropriate college majors and careers in line with their learning styles and interests. Corvias Foundation Executive Director Julie Allen noted that despite a raft of challenges facing military-connected students, College Connection can provide the support required to turn adversity into an advantage.

“These students often demonstrate a tenacity for learning and a dedication to study,” said Allen. “Corvias is proud to invest in their future, and we believe College Connection will help them achieve their goals.”

20 years of support for military-connected students

The launch of College Connection coincides with Corvias Foundation’s 20th anniversary. Since its launch in 2026, the non-profit has given out over $20 million in scholarships to military-connected families.

To mark its 20th anniversary, the foundation is offering $20,000 in scholarships to high school seniors from active-duty military families seeking a four-year college degree. Meanwhile, a streak of consistency has seen it join the Bob Woodruff Foundation’s Got Your 6 Network and earn its place in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

Meanwhile, Charity Journal can confirm an uptick in scholarship opportunities for military-linked students. While service-branch specific scholarships have gathered steam, programs like ThanksUSA and Folds of Honor Foundation are also providing educational support.
