FLAP is a flagship talent development initiative organised by Flour Mills of Nigeria, designed to nurture the next generation of business leaders. Participants engage in structured workshops, hands-on projects, and mentorship from senior executives. The programme develops problem-solving and innovation skills, preparing fellows for leadership roles in corporate settings.

Fellows also rotate through practical placements in different business functions, applying classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. This on-the-job experience enhances professional readiness while fostering strategic leadership. Participants build strong professional networks and gain insights into organisational culture, enabling them to contribute effectively to their workplaces.

Funding Size

  • Typical grant amount: NGN 150,000 per month
  • Maximum award: NGN 2,250,000
  • Project duration supported: fifteen months

The fund covers living expenses, training materials, and relocation support.

Who Can Apply for the Flour Mills Future Leader Accelerator Program

Eligible organisation types

  • Individual Nigerian graduates holding a bachelor’s degree or HND
  • Early-career professionals seeking leadership and business management skills
  • Aspiring entrepreneurs and youth innovators aiming for professional growth

Registration or legal documents

  • Degree certificate with a minimum Second Class Upper or HND Upper Credit
  • National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) completion certificate, with 0–2 years post-NYSC experience
  • Valid Nigerian identification
  • Updated curriculum vitae

  • Willingness to participate fully in structured learning and rotational placements
