The Hinkley Point C. (HPC) Community Fund Small Grants is administered by Somerset Community Foundation, a registered charity in Somerset, Southwestern England. The grant programme focuses on assisting local community groups and charities that serve areas impacted by the HPC development. The goal of the grant is to improve community well-being and the quality of life. 

Funds of up to £20,000 may be used to run community projects, refurbish facilities, or purchase equipment that contributes to community wellbeing. Applications are open year-round, and the foundation supports projects of up to 3 years. 

Funding Size

  • Project duration supported: 1-3 years

If the project takes only one year to complete, the grant recipient receives £10,000. However, if the project takes a longer time, between 2-3 years, the recipient can receive grant funding up to £20,000.
