Project 26 Pennsylvania (P26 PA) is a youth-led political organizing organization dedicated to empowering Gen Z voters across Pennsylvania. Through grassroots outreach, leadership development, and community organizing, P26 PA works to engage young people in the democratic process and build long-term youth political power.
The Role
Project 26 Pennsylvania is seeking Campus Organizers to mobilize young voters and build student-led organizing programs ahead of the 2026 elections. This is a highly field-focused role involving direct outreach, volunteer management, event coordination, and coalition building on college campuses and within local communities.
Campus Organizers will spend most of their time engaging students in person, recruiting volunteers, developing youth leaders, and helping drive voter registration and turnout efforts.
Requirements
Essential
Passion for youth civic engagement and political organizing.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable approaching and engaging strangers.
Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Must live in or be willing to relocate to Pittsburgh.
Desirable
Experience with electoral, community, or campus organizing.
Experience managing volunteers or teams.
