The Role

Fauna & Flora is seeking a Programme Administrator, Africa, to provide administrative, information management, and operational support across its Africa Programme. Working within a growing team, you will help ensure projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Programme Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Africa Programme team and projects.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and information management systems.
  • Support compliance with internal procedures and donor requirements.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project-related activities.

Communication & Coordination

  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues in the UK and Africa country offices.
  • Facilitate communication and information sharing across teams.
  • Support collaboration on multiple projects and organizational priorities.

Operational Support

  • Assist with office administration and project logistics.
  • Monitor deadlines and help ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Requirements

  • Previous experience providing administrative support in a busy environment.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and discretion.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Working knowledge of French is desirable.
