About Depaul UK

Depaul UK is a national youth homelessness charity dedicated to preventing homelessness and supporting young people facing housing insecurity, poverty, and social exclusion. Since its founding in 1989, the organization has grown from a single housing project into a leading provider of accommodation, prevention, and support services across the UK. Through person-centred interventions, Depaul UK helps young people build resilience, achieve independence, and create brighter futures.

The Role

This rewarding role focuses on helping individuals secure stable accommodation, improve their financial wellbeing, strengthen social connections, and engage in employment, education, or training opportunities.

Working both independently and as part of a supportive team, you will manage a diverse caseload and provide tailored one-to-one support within community settings. Using strengths-based approaches and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles, you will empower young people to build confidence, overcome barriers, and work towards sustainable independence.

  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Commitment to strengths-based and person-centred approaches.
  • Excellent partnership-building and collaborative working skills.
  • Ability to reflect on practice and contribute to continuous learning and development.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and professional integrity.

What They Offer

  • Tailored training and professional development opportunities, including ACT training.
  • Flexible working arrangements where appropriate.
  • 26 days annual leave, increasing with service.
  • Family-friendly leave policies.
  • Pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 7%.
  • Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 GP access.
  • Retail, travel, fitness, and lifestyle discounts.
