The Role

Greenheart International is hiring a Teach USA Regional Coordinator to serve as the primary relationship builder and support presence within host schools. This independent contractor role centers on consistent in-school engagement, direct teacher support, and strengthening institutional partnerships that contribute to long-term program success and expansion.

Working remotely while maintaining regular in-person engagement with assigned schools, you will support international teachers throughout their placement experience, cultivate trusted relationships with school leadership, and help identify opportunities for renewal and growth across your region.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy and Leadership

  • Maintain a consistent presence within assigned host schools through regular visits and engagement
  • Align teacher support efforts with school expectations, program guidelines, and compliance standards
  • Track activities, observations, and engagement through CRM and internal documentation systems
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment between school needs and program delivery
  • Support implementation of orientation sessions and program education for teachers and administrators

Donor Engagement and Major Gifts

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for teachers needing professional, cultural, or logistical support
  • Assist with new teacher onboarding, including welcome activities organized with school leadership
  • Monitor teacher well-being, performance, and retention risks through regular check-ins and visits
  • Provide coaching, problem-solving support, and escalation when concerns arise
  • Organize required cross-cultural activities each semester that allow teachers to share their home culture
  • Facilitate at least one annual group activity that connects teachers with local community experiences

Campaign Culture and Ecosystem Building

  • Build trust-based relationships with principals, assistant principals, and host school administrators
  • Conduct regular meetings with school leadership to assess progress, address issues, and maintain compliance
  • Support school renewals and continued engagement through high-quality relationship management
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion within existing or neighboring schools
  • Generate consistent warm leads and share insights with sales and regional leadership teams
  • Collect stories, testimonials, and media that support marketing and program growth efforts
  • Collaborate with internal staff on renewal readiness, account health, and strategic improvements

Requirements

  • At least two years of professional experience, preferably within an educational or school-based environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, international studies, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate independently in a field-based role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce for tracking and documentation
  • Comfort working with non-native English speakers and supporting cross-cultural adjustment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular school visits
  • High emotional intelligence, flexibility, and problem-solving capability
