MAC MicroGrant Program 2026 – Apply Now

The MAC MicroGrant Program is a grant initiative that occurs yearly to provide support for Mississauga-based artists. The grant also matches eligible artists and individuals with funds raised through investments and contributions. Funding of up to $3,000 is available for artists who are successful in their applications. The submission deadline for the 2026 funding year is Monday, March 23, 2026, by 5 pm EDT.

About The MAC MicroGrant Program

The Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) MicroGrant Program offers a matchmaker grant of up to 50% of the total funding cost for eligible projects. The grant seeks to support individual artists who are based in Mississauga to complete projects that impact or benefit their community. To be eligible for the funding, artists must show proof that they can cover the remaining 50% of the project funds by themselves or through sponsorships.

The grant does not discriminate and instead sponsors a wide range of projects from dance, acting, visual arts, performing arts, digital media and so on. Successful applicants must become members of the art council while they complete their projects. The project sponsored by the grant must already have a set event date, and it must fit the residents of Mississauga.
