About The National Medicinal Plants Board Poshan Vatika Grant

The National Medicinal Plants Board Poshan Vatika Grant operates under the Ministry of Ayush and is calling for nonprofits, government organisations and non-government organisations with expertise in medicinal plants to apply for the grant. The grant is available for only the selected five states in India: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Assam and Chhattisgarh.

The award program runs for a duration of three years with funding disbursed yearly for activities such as plantation, irrigation, training, awareness, signage and maintenance. The Poshan Vatika grant aims to support nutrition among schoolchildren, community health, environmental sustainability, and the establishment of medicinal gardens.
