Playdale Playgrounds has recently named St Mary’s Hospice and Mind in Furness as its Charities of the Year for 2025. To fulfil its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the company reached out to its employees to help choose charities they felt were necessary to build a commitment towards the community within the company.

St Mary’s Hospice does an important work of offering palliative and end-of-life services, while Mind in Furness takes care of mental health advocacy and support services. Selecting these charities enables Playdale Playgrounds to further its efforts on both the physical and mental health of the region.
Playdale Playgrounds: fundraising and community engagement
Once the charities were selected, Annabelle Holloway, the corporate partnerships manager at St Mary’s Hospice, liaised with Playdale’s CSR team to earmark a date on the calendar for a series of fundraising activities. The intention is to create funding as well as give staff and the public means to engage and raise awareness about the issues.
