Following the generous donations of over £22,000 made by the cleaning and security company, Samsic, the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is set to receive enhanced training opportunities for its staff.
According to a report, the funding is set to support three of their employees through an accredited apprenticeship program that is designed to enhance their skills as well as sustain the charity’s lifesaving works.
Skill investment for lifesaving impact
The donation, according to an insider, will enable some key team members to undertake specialized training courses that are aimed at improving their professional proficiency. The charity’s innovation and development manager, Charley Burke, through the donation, will enroll in the level 5 Operations/DepartmentManager course while Kate Bristow the fund executive, and corporate partnership executive Wiktoria Jaworska will both participate in the level 3 Fundraising Course.
Emily Browne, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity head of education and training has emphasized the importance of this initiative.
“The apprenticeships funded by Samsic are an invaluable investment in our team. This development will help us continue to provide the crucial services that save lives across the region,” she stated.
