About The Screenrights Cultural Fund

The Screenrights Cultural Fund is calling on individuals, organisations and companies in New Zealand and Australia that support the creation of screen content. This is the ninth year that the organisation is offering grants of up to $300,000 to support screen content projects. The aim of the grant is to support creatives in the creation and appreciation of screen content across eligible regions. Previous awardees of the grant are not eligible to apply again until after three years, when their projects must have been completed.

Who Can Apply for the Screenrights Cultural Fund

  • The applicants or organisations must be based in and also operate in New Zealand or Australia.
  • Applicants can only submit one application per funding round.
  • The applicants must have prior knowledge of the projects.
  • The applicants should not have received this grant in the past 3 years.
