Four aid workers detained in Mogadishu
Four staff members of an NNGO were arrested, including the director, when their compound in Mogadishu was raided by the Transitional Federal Government forces (TFG) and Ethiopian forces. The arresting forces destroyed and confiscated property in the office. The government spokesperson claimed the raid was to collect illegal arms while the organization claimed that it was retribution for not allowing the government leaders to control funds. All of the staff members were released after three days but the director was rearrested, and then released again. Means of attack recorded as detention/arrest. Context raid.
