An NRCS vehicle was ambushed on route between Kaya and Djibo. Unknown perpetrators kidnapped three NRCS staff and their driver. One staff was released on March 23, 2019, another on April 29, 2019, and one remains in captivity as of June 2020. Means of attack recorded as kidnapping. Context ambush.
