An INGO staff member was abducted from in front of his private residence by unknown armed men. The abductors demanded a ransom from his family in exchange for his release, and did not indicate that they were politically or ideologically motivated. The man was released on 6 November. It is suspected, but not confirmed, that the family paid some form of ransom for his release. Means of attack recorded as kidnapping. Context individual attack.
