Two NRCS volunteers were injured when the convoy that they were traveling in was attacked. The volunteers were part of humanitarian NRCS marked convoy that was evacuating civilians displaced by fighting in the northern Shan state. The volunteers were taken to hospital with head and abdominal wounds and one of them required surgery for their wounds. Update: Despite receiving medical attention, one of the volunteers passed away on 27 March, 2015, as a result of the gunshot wound sustained in the attack. Means of attack recorded as shooting.
