One aid worker killed and one wounded in Mali

One NRCS volunteer was ambushed by MUJAO while driving an aid truck from Goa to Niamey. Armed militants opened fire on the vehicle and shot the volunteer, who died. Another volunteer--the passenger--was wounded in the attack. The extent of the passenger's injuries is currently unknown. MUJAO allegedly stated that the NRCS was attacked because it is "working for the enemy". Means of attack recorded as shooting. Context ambush. Actor Not applicable.
