One NRCS paramedic was reportedly shot in the face with a rubber bullet, while performing humanitarian activities, by the Israeli military. The military shots came from the border wall east of Khan Younis on May 11, 2019. On June 11, 2019 the NRCS volunteer succumbed to his wounds and died in a hospital in Gaza.
