One female NRCS volunteer was attacked by unknown assailants with a large knife while closing her store, unrelated to NRCS activities, in Mbwajumwali village at 11:00pm. Media reports indicate the volunteer was killed after suffering several large and serious lacerations. There is an ongoing police investigation. Means of attack recorded as bodily assault.
