In an act of revenge, an SPLA soldier escaped from detention and opened fire at a housing complex for SPLA officers, killing one soldier and one INGO national staff member. He had been incarcerated by his commanding officer since September 8th (reasons unknown). The soldier fled after the shooting and has not been apprehended. . Means of attack recorded as shooting.
