One NRCS staff member was injured in an attack on a humanitarian convoy near the Syrian capital of Damascus. The convoy was targeted when it approached the city and the staff member was shot and seriously wounded. The truck was part of a multi-agency convoy tasked with the mission to deliver food, medicine and supplies to 11,000 people in the town of East Harasta. Means of attack recorded as shooting.
