One female UN national staff member walking to the office in Deraja Wau town in the morning and was attacked by two men. She was grabbed by the neck and forced to the ground in an effort to control her while they attempted to steal her bag. The woman was unable to call for help because she was being choked as she the man held her down. A passerby saw the incident and intervened.
