One INGO staff member was taken by the March 23 Movement (M23) soldiers and beat up in Goma, North Kivu. This was done due to the suspicion that he was a FARDC soldier. He was released a few hours later and on his walk home was beat up and robbed by a separate group of March 23 Movement (M23) soldiers. He was released by them a few hours later.
