One aid worker wounded in Masiaka
One male field staff member was cut by a large knife (or machete) and assaulted when a gang of five men broken into the guest house he was staying in with other people. The assailants demanded cash from the occupants, some of which were Council staff and believed to have cash on them because of the Census that had recently ended. The armed men assumed that they would have just received their salaries. Personal items were also stolen from the house as well as a computer. The other occupants (not counted here) received bruises and cuts as a result of the incident. Means of attack recorded as bodily assault. Context raid. Actor type criminal.
