One aid worker wounded in Nipa

On April 7th, a UN convoy was attacked in Nipa town by a mob. One international staff member was hurt when a rock smashed the rear window of the vehicle. A bullet also punctured the vehicle's tire but they were able to reach safety. Eventually, they reached their destination, Mendi town, and the aid worker was able to receive further treatment. The convoy had been a mix of government partners, the UN and it was escorted by police and the military. Means of attack recorded as bodily assault. Context mob violence.
