One aid worker wounded in Vanni

1 INGO national staff was injured in artillery shelling in Mullativeu with a major injury to stomache. Victim was evacuated along with their family. Earlier on 12 January 2009 he was injured in artillery shelling; his head and recovered. Both incidents happened in the area where ongoing combat operations.
