Three INGO aid workers were detained by the police over allegations of human trafficking in the North Aegean region. One staff member was arrested from the airport. They were all released prior to their trial. Two were released 106 days after arrest and one was released 108 days after arrest. After a lengthy legal battle all were cleared of trafficking and espionage charges in 2025 and 2026. Means of attack recorded as detention/arrest. Actor Police.
