Two INGO national staff members, a doctor and a nurse working in an ambulance, were ambushed by an unknown criminal gang in Reparto Las Canas, Ilpango. After being assaulted and threatened by the gang they were able to escape and their injuries treated. The INGO suspended activities in the area until an investigation behind the attack is completed.
