Two HEKS/EPER aid workers killed in vehicle attack

Two aid workers from the Swiss organisation HEKS/EPER were killed and others injured when their vehicles were attacked in southern Ukraine on 1 February 2024. The UN humanitarian coordinator noted the attack closely resembled an incident in Chasiv Yar a week earlier in which a humanitarian vehicle was hit. Fifty aid workers were killed or injured in Ukraine during 2023, eleven of them in the line of duty.
