About The Trefoil Grants

The Trefoil Grants are sponsored by Trefoil, which is a Scottish charity organisation that supports young people, children, families and nonprofits to help make their lives better. Trefoil supports individuals in Scotland with three distinct grants: personal development grant, organisational grants and Lilias Finlay holiday grant. 

Each of the grants focuses on different individuals and supports a range of activities such as personal and social development, life skills, arts and music for individuals who do not have these opportunities.

Who Can Apply to the Trefoil Grants 

    • Eligible organisation types: Nonprofits and individuals
  • Registration requirements:
  • Applicants must reside in Scotland
  • For individual applications, applicants must not be older than 25 years. 
  • Medical referral letters for individuals applying for personal development grants.
  • Geographic eligibility: Scotland
  • Sector or thematic focus: Personal development areas such as sports, music, life skills and adventure.
