The UK-Germany Youth Summit is a fully funded opportunity for young people aged 18 to 25 years to participate in an educational summit in Berlin, Germany. The summit awards only 70 participants from the UK and Germany to engage in workshops and discussions on democracy and civic engagement. The summit covers all travel expenses, including accommodation and meal costs, from the 19th to the 22nd of March 2026. Applications are currently open and close on January 25, 2026.

About The UK-Germany Youth Summit 2026

The UK-Germany Youth Summit 2026 is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ), the UK Department for Education (DfE) and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). The summit aims to connect 70 youths aged 18 to 25 from the UK and Germany with a focus on democracy and civic engagement discussions. 

The summit is anchored by the International Youth Service of the Federal Republic of Germany and the British Council (IJAB) and is expected to run from the 19th to the 22nd of March 2026. Successful applicants will be notified in February 2026, and all expenses are paid for the summit, including accommodation, travel and meal costs, except pocket money.

Who Can Apply to the UK-Germany Youth Summit
