The UNFPA Türkiye Call for Proposals on Gender Equality and Women’s Rights empowers civil society organisations to design and implement projects that advance gender equality, protect women’s rights, and promote the health and safety of women, girls, and youth. This programme allows organisations to strengthen local capacities and influence policy and community awareness across Türkiye.
About the UNFPA Türkiye Call for Proposals on Gender Equality and Women’s Rights
UNFPA Türkiye, with support from the European Union, manages this call to fund initiatives that address gender inequalities and promote women’s empowerment. The programme supports projects that prevent and respond to gender-based violence, improve access to reproductive health services, and empower youth through education, advocacy, and protection initiatives.
The programme is in three lots. Lot 1 supports direct service delivery and outreach activities for vulnerable women and girls, while Lot 2 funds research, evidence generation, and advocacy projects that inform policies, raise public awareness, and contribute to sustainable gender equality strategies. Lot 3 focuses on organisational capacity building, helping civil society groups grow, governance, project management, and skills to advance gender equality and women’s rights.
Applicants may submit proposals for only one lot, and each proposal must clearly state programme objectives and provide realistic implementation plans
