About The United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund

The United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking (UNVTF) is administered by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). UNODC is the UN entity mandated to assist Member States in combating illicit drugs, transnational organised crime, corruption, and human trafficking.

The fund was established to provide humanitarian, legal, and financial assistance to victims of trafficking in persons, particularly women and children. The programme supports victim-centred projects implemented by Non-governmental organisations and survivor-led entities working directly with affected victims.
