About the Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship 2026
The Women in Agriculture Leadership Program Fellowship is an initiative by the African Women in Agricultural Research and Development. It is supported under the Africa – Australia Partnership for Climate-Responsive Agriculture. This group wants to improve the agricultural research and development partnerships across Africa. The fellowship hopes to close the leadership gap for women in agricultural research. Although women contribute to agriculture in Africa, their numbers in decision-making roles are limited. Fellows meet professionals and receive training in areas such as leadership, negotiation, and gender integration. Participants also enjoy working with capable hands across the agricultural research ecosystem.
