Having been organizing charity events for more than 30 years now, Tony has promised that the night will be a night that not only celebrates football but also will be used to raise funds for the Veterans Living History Museum, a non-profit that shares and preserves military veterans’ stories. While speaking, he emphasized the importance of supporting veterans noting that though he is not from a military background, he is a strong believer in giving back to those who have served.
More than just football night
This charity night is intended to serve for both insightful and entertainment purposes with Mike Newell sharing the behind the scenes stories from his time at Blackburn Rovers.
Tony having long been committed to charity work will as well be attending The King’s Garden Party on May 7 in honor of his dedication to fundraising. Additionally, he is also planning a July charity football match that will feature football legends and soap stars whose details will be announced soon.
“It’s going to be a fantastic night for Rovers fans,” Tony said. “At the same time, we’re raising money for a great cause.”
The tickets for the event will be priced at £20, while the meet and greet package is available for £35.
