The Catalysing Innovation for HIV Prevention in the Caribbean is a multi-country grant
that focuses on building sustainable access to HIV prevention and care. The Global Fund provides funding to specific regions in the Caribbean to combat diseases such as AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. Eligible countries include: Belize, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, and Suriname.

The funding is available for legally registered Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community-Based Organisations (CBOs), and Community-Led Organisations (CLOs) in the Caribbean and its participating regions. Funding of up to 40,000 – 70,000 is available for one successful applicant each year in every participating country.

  • Cuba

  • Jamaica 
  • Suriname 

Sector or thematic focus: Initiatives addressing HIV testing and care; PrEP/PEP access and adherence; comprehensive HIV/STI prevention, including cross-cutting components such as technology use, service delivery improvements, human rights, gender barriers, and strategic data use.
