The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Research Grants supports researchers, analysts, students, writers, and humanitarian practitioners around the world, who conduct structured research on grassroots humanitarians operations in conflict zones. 

Participants will need to complete a 35-day period of extensive online research and application reveiws are on a rolling basis.

About The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Research Grants

The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Research Grants administers the Aurora Research Grants program to raise awareness of the work of unsung local responders addressing violent conflict, mass atrocities and humanitarian crises. 

Participants will have to complete a 35-day period of extensive research work online, where they will also be nominating five recipients of the Aurora Prize selection. The research work will be done in the language the participant understands, but all profiles of the five eligible individuals will be completed in English. At the end, participants will receive a stipend. There are limited places, and applications are processed on a rolling basis. The project is part of the Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity process.
