The Conrad Hilton Humanitarian Prize is a global humanitarian award that supports nonprofit organisations in completing projects that alleviate human suffering worldwide. The value of the Prize is up to USD $3,000,000, making it the world’s largest annual humanitarian prize for nonprofits. Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis, with the annual cut-off date of April 30, 2026, for consideration for the 2027 prize year.

About The Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize 

The Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize award, established in 1996 in honour of Conrad Hilton, is sponsored by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, a U.S.-based philanthropic organisation. The Foundation supports initiatives that relieve the suffering of vulnerable and disadvantaged populations worldwide.

The Prize seeks to recognise nonprofit organisations that have made extraordinary contributions to alleviating human suffering and supporting disadvantaged persons worldwide. The 2026 Prize call is open for the 2027 prize cycle.

Who Can Apply for the Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize

    • Nominees must be registered nonprofits with over five years in operation.
    • Must have expenditures of over $750,000 in the last recent financial record.
    • Must show proof of completed projects that support humanitarian relief.

Application Process

  • Organisations can submit a nomination form through the official award portal.

  • An independent international jury conducts the final review to select the Prize recipient.
